Description
The EGOE Nestbox L Complete Set is designed for those who want to use their car for both everyday life and longer adventures. On a daily basis, the car remains your regular vehicle, but when the trip calls, the boot can quickly be transformed into a practical base with a kitchen, water, storage, and sleeping area.
The Nestbox L is the spacious model in the series and is developed for large MPVs, vans, passenger transporters, and cars where a higher bed position makes sense. It provides ample space for equipment, cooking, and overnight stays – without the need to buy a motorhome or make permanent modifications.
The kitchen pulls out directly from the boot, providing a practical workspace with a stove, sink, faucet, and water module. This makes it easy to make coffee, wash hands, do dishes, or clean equipment after a day outdoors. ⚙️
The integrated sleeping area is designed for two people and folds out inside the car. The bed has its own slatted base support, so the rear seats usually only need to be folded down instead of removed. This makes setup quicker and simpler.
A special pull-out system extends the bed at the shoulder and head areas, better utilising the car's interior width. This provides more comfort while keeping the module compact when folded in the boot.
The system is securely fastened with the included certified straps to the car's anchor points. No drilling, no change to the vehicle registration certificate, and no irreversible changes to the car are required.
After the trip, the camping box can be removed and stored in a garage or storage room. For daily use, no tools are typically required – Allen keys are primarily used for the initial height adjustment.
The Nestbox L is built for longevity, easy cleaning, and repeated use. The materials are chosen with a focus on durability, service, spare parts, and a system that can be used season after season.

Kitchen and water system
The kitchen module is designed for practical cooking on the go. The work surface pulls out from the boot, providing access to the stove, sink, faucet, and water bag.

The water system can also be used for a simple gravity shower by hanging the water bag and using a dedicated shower nozzle. If higher water pressure is desired, a pressure shower with a separate bag can be purchased as an extra.
Comfortable sleeping area
The bed is constructed with a slatted base and a comfort mattress with a PUR sandwich construction. It is designed to make overnight stays in the car more comfortable, providing a stable and supportive sleeping surface on your trip.
The underside of the mattress is washable and non-slip. The cover is made of soft Mystic fabric with Aquaclean treatment, which makes it easy to clean with water and a cloth.
The Safe Front treatment helps reduce microbial activity and odours, which is a practical advantage for longer trips and active outdoor living.
Storage and cooling
The Nestbox L is made for longer trips where more space is needed for equipment, kitchenware, clothes, and travel accessories.

Refrigerator is not included as standard and is sold separately. A 30-liter refrigerator solution for longer journeys is also under development.
Installation and use
Installation is simple and can usually be done without special tools. However, it is an advantage to have two people when lifting the module into the car.
The camping box can be placed in the car in about 15–20 minutes in transport position and removed in about 10 minutes after the trip. During the journey, it typically takes about 5 minutes to set up the bed. The bed must be folded when driving.
For the first installation, Allen keys No. 4 and No. 5 are used to adjust the correct leg height. For repeated use, no tools are typically needed.
Maintenance and service
The camping module should be regularly cleaned with a sponge or cloth and soapy water. The upholstery can be cleaned with a cloth and warm soapy water or with carpet cleaner.
The cover can be separated from the mattress and machine washed at 30° on a delicate cycle without spinning. The mattress itself should not be machine washed.
When folded, the module takes up limited space and can be stored in a garage, storage room, or on a Euro pallet. A protective cover for storage is available as an accessory.
